We are seeking a motivated and community-minded Program & Administrative Assistant (part-time) to support weekly program sessions, track basic expenses, assist with administrative tasks, and maintain our social media presence.

 

This role is ideal for a young woman looking to grow their skills in events, marketing, or nonprofit program support.

Program & Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Woman, ages 18–29 (required)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Open to beginners; some admin or marketing experience preferred

  • Interest in music, community development, or events

  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in-person

Key Information:

  • Contract: 1-year, part-time (8 hours/week), with possibility of extension

  • Compensation: $20hr + $1000 available for professional development

  • Location: Hybrid, Toronto (in-person weekly 4hrs + 4hrs work from home)

  • Eligibility: Woman, ages 18–29

Key Responsibilities:

Program Support (Approx. 4hrs/week, In-Person)

  • Support weekly sessions (set-up, sign-in, room logistics)

  • Assist facilitators and provide onsite support to participants

  • Assist in capturing light photo/video content as needed

 

Administrative Support

  • Email communications

  • Assist with scheduling, file organization, attendance tracking

  • Maintain program documents

 

Budget Support

  • Organize receipts and expenses

  • Support with budget tracking and reconciliation

 

Social Media Support

  • Post weekly content on Socials

  • Assist in rollout of social media strategy, including sharing program updates, resources, community opportunities, lunch & learn announcements, and holiday acknowledgments
